This paper considers the strengths of project methodology for construction a more innovative, active and problematizing geographical education among Portuguese secondary students, through critical reflection on applicability Project “We Propose! / Nós Propomos!”, in last five years. The methodological approach is based review national international literature, simplified content analysis three curricular reforms Portugal since beginning this century, recourse to explanation interpretation descriptive memories project. scholarly significance study resides demonstration how students are placed contact with real-life geographers from municipalities local associations beyond institutional economic fabric their surroundings learn value geographic knowledge geography can help solving land use problems.
